SEED 2010!

SEED Camp 2010 is really an awesome camp as our God is in the house! Unlike other camps where we lose our voices due to screaming for our teams only, but we scream for the Lord is with us! We scream for our God is worthy of all praises! WOOT! it’s been 2 days since the camp is over, but yet i’m not gonna let go of all that I’ve learnt for it’s after the camp then it’s the true challenge! it’s been a tiring 2 days after camp since i fell ill! Physically i’m drained out, but spiritually i’m bouncing and hyped up for what is to come! Exciting things like CG (Jovey our new convert joining!) MCG (Sarah’s visitor coming!) and i heard my peeps meeting up with contacts as well as im meeting my contacts out as well! The real test begun, more challenges will come but i know, as long as we persevere! The Lord will ALWAYS deliver us! Let’s not give up in doing what is right and pleasing before the Lord man! For our identity is the Child of GOD. and our origin is in God! The creator, the alpha & the Omega, Beginning and the end! Let’s take heart in who God is, for He have overcome the world!

God’s heartbeat is clear – lives is the price paid by the blood of Jesus. Everything boils down to the salvation of man. During this 3 days, God’s vision for me (Even before camp) got clearer and clearer, and it rooted down to this – God’s promises to prosper abraham in the old testament and His decendants still stands till today – all the way from issac, to jacob. Likewise, this is still overflowing in our lives today – that God wants to prosper the generation in His everlasting covenant. From the time Jesus appointed the 12 disciples, God already have in mind to have a plan to see His people being brought back to Him. Likewise now, we are the appointed disciples – we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Yet, on the other hand we might have other concerns of how can we do all things. But the thing is – We need to see possibilities in the impossibilities first then we can accept the impact of witnessing the extrodinary!

Another thing i took back from camp is this – the 4 types of seed. Many seeds are planted, some falls away, some are rooted shallow  the soil, some are overcrowded by weeds and others are growing strongly in te good soil. Which do we belong to? I was really burdened with the mentioning of those unresponsive heart. It saddens me that even thought the truth at the end of the day is that people knows God is the only way but refuse to turn to God due to pride, and misconception of who God is. Think about it, are there already people with unresponsive hearts around you? What we need to do is not to shun away from them as their persecutions are strong, but to soften their hearts with the empowerment and the love of God. Showing them the biblical truths that God planted in us, and nuturing them, removing the misconception and giving them another chance to know God once again! Let’s not deny our given identity of God to impact and be a influence of the world.

If we ourself belongs to the worrisome and implusive, perhaps its time to shift our attention on God and remove the weeds & be patient to wait upon the Lord. I belong to this category too and i want to do something about it! To have daily devotion with the Lord and be patient to hear from God! yeaaa!

I’m really amazed by God who allow me to be used as well as my sheep to witness a worship evangelism! Doesnt need an altar call or even an special avenue, but where the Love of God is people can sense and the spirit will stir in the hearts! When we avail ourselves to believe that this life is a beloved life that God is chasing after, and when we shift our agenda to be God’s agenda, our perspective is changed. we’ll then give our very best, not because we want to see that life but we need to know God paid the same price for that person as well as for me and the others who are saved. No one is more worthy or less worthy of the Blood of Jesus.

I like what Pastor Jasmine said, “We may be the only bible that some people get to read in their life time” Are we dilligently showing the characters of God? Are we allowing people to witness the same goodness of God throughour lives? Sometimes people get misconception of God not because God isnt good, or because God is fake. But it’s because those who are carrying the name of the Lord failed to be a good testimony for the Lord’s name. Let’s not devalue or bring undue glory to God. Let’s be a good seed that brings forth good testimony and impact to lives around us!

I want to thank God for this camp, the committee, the volunteers, bizart and my CG. Esp, my CG. In the whole camp, i saw how much they gave their best to know new people even though they are not used to it, to initiate to serve others, to also do their best to communicate. During the challenge time, I sense that this is it – new lives are rising up. New people are rising up to really take their place. Not because of what i’ve said, what jen said or what the leaders said. But it’s the kind of message and nudging from Holy spirit.

Biz 2!! Let’s not bring undue glory to God, we’ve seen a life crossing e line of faith let’s not stop in doing what is pleasing to the Lord. These convictions will not be convictions untill we start to see it being flowed out into our daily lives and actions. What is so great about leaders like John C.Maxwell or Andy Stanley is not who they are, but in their hearts who they are living for, and who they are obeying in the process of maturing! Let’s live out the truths in courage for The Lord’s plan will always prevail!
